Fc bayern munchen: trainer team is fixed

Second division leader fortuna dusseldorf has released his co-coach peter hermann for a move to german soccer champions bayern munchen. The 65-year-old will be an assistant there to jupp heynckes, whose signing until the end of the season was announced by FC bayern on friday.

The succession of hermann wants the fortuna in short rules and announce. Fortuna's CEO robert schafer emphasized: "the negotiations with FC bayern munich were fair and constructive. We have achieved a result with which all sides can be satisfied."

Head coach friedhelm funkel explained: "even though i very much regret that peter hermann is leaving our coaching team, i can understand his wish. He was contacted by his friend jupp heynckes and liked to help him. Our seasonal goals will not change because of this."

Hermann had emphasized in the morning that he had asked for the release with a heavy heart. "It is very, very difficult for me. But i have a lot in common with jupp heynckes and i wanted to do him a favor. I owe him a lot and I wanted to give him something back", he had explained.

Hermann already worked in leverkusen and during an earlier tenure in munich as co-coach of heynckes – among other things in winning the 2013 triple.
